Authorship is Dead, Long Live the Knowledge Vault!

Google revealed two major search updates this past month. First, they announced the discontinuation of Authorship markup. Next, and perhaps more significantly, it was revealed that Google is focusing on extending their existing Knowledge Graph into a Knowledge Vault – mapping semantic relationships between subjects, predicates and objects, and further indicating that human, crowd sourced connections are no longer up to par.
