See Us in Savannah, Georgia & Washington DC!
Over the upcoming months, PMX Agency Nonprofits strategists will be joining a select group of senior leaders and fundraising experts at two of the most important industry events this time of year: The annual DMA Nonprofit Federation Leadership Summit and the DMAW Digital Day Forum. We’re looking forward to being a part of the critical conversations happening in today’s nonprofit communities, as well as leading some of the discussions, and offering strategic insight for some of the more prevalent issues nonprofit marketers and fundraisers face, like donor privacy and data.
See where we’ll be below!
DMA Nonprofit Leadership Summit: Day 1 – May 7, 2018
“Social Media, Data Privacy & Managing Board Expectations”
2:00-2:50 PM// Panel Presentation
Join our VP of Nonprofit Strategy, Bethany Maki, and other nonprofit leaders, for a candid discussion around growing data privacy concerns, particularly on social media, and the important questions nonprofits should be asking themselves when it comes to how they’re utilizing and sharing donor data.
A discussion of privacy implications of the recent Facebook & Cambridge Data revelations in political campaigns – the pros and cons of data sharing among organizations and the future of donor privacy in the new realms of data tech. Organizations rely on shared donor data and new uses are emerging—but what is the proper balance between donor privacy and data for good?

Test for Success – How to Infuse Consistent Testing into Your Fundraising Programs
11:15-12:15PM // Breakout Session 2A
Join our Senior Director of Digital Nonprofit Strategy, Donna Arriaga, for a session that will help you make sense of what an effective testing methodology for fundraising programs really looks like!
When it comes to Testing – fundraising strategy, content, creative, cadence, on and offline media – you might find yourself in one of two scenarios.
- You’re just getting started in Testing, and beginning to identify the value in it, but aren’t quite sure where to start. If you’re in Camp 1, you may also seek guidance on understanding the role of testing in due diligence and risk mitigation. You might see Testing as a way to go with your gut, and run with something entirely new, rather than taking a more methodical data-driven approach.
- You’re regularly Testing, but perhaps looking for a stronger, more strategic approach. If you’re in Camp 2, you might be testing like crazy, but finding yourself with a collection of one-off tactics, rather than building a complete testing strategy based on iterative learnings.
No matter which camp you’re in, we’re here to help! And to show you how to infuse testing into your programs that reap substantial learnings and value to your strategy.
