In our 2015 Mid-Holiday Check In, SVP of Paid Digital Media, Nicole Jennings, covers some overall statistics that provide great benchmarks as you monitor the performance of your paid search campaigns. Equally if not more important, we’ve provided a few tips for optimizing your campaigns between now and the end of your Season, since there is still plenty of time to positively impact your programs.

If we take a look at some of the key statistics over Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, mobile showed some critical year-over-year increases in terms of orders made, paid search clicks and paid search revenue. Here’s a quick mobile snapshot:

Thanksgiving: 93% YoY increase in orders

Black Friday: 427% YoY increase in paid search revenue

Cyber Monday: Over 500% growth in orders

While these bigger days in the season are now behind us, there is still time to make an impact. Consider your strategies for Paid Search, Remarketing, Mobile and Shipping Cut-Off in order to ensure the second half of your holiday season is just as successful as the first!
