Snapchat has been courting brands for quite some time, but luxury brands have been noticeably absent from their ad campaigns. Chalk it up to their demographics or their attempts to maintain a level of prestige and allure, but high fashion brands have not been clamoring to work with the social network with the same fervor as media and entertainment brands. Michael Kors, however, may change that. The brand recently launched their first Snapchat story, coinciding with their NYFW showing.

Rumor has it Pinterest is prepping to release a Buy button for the platform. Pinterest has long provided the perfect stage for retailers to drive interest and build communities with highly stylized images. Now Pinterest wants to take it one step further. Powered by Bizo, LinkedIn will launch a new lead-gen tool, Lead Accelerator. The network will also extend native ads beyond just the LinkedIn platform to gain visibility on thousands of publisher websites.
