Pinterest and Apple align for app-pinning
In addition to recipes and outfit inspiration, pinners will now be able to pin their favorite mobile apps. A Pin It button will now be at the top of apps available for iOS. The pinning option will now help mobile users to more easily identify specific apps within an overly-crowded app market.
Twitter targets Niche social talent
Social media starts are among the most influential personalities on the web today. And with more brands trying to lure users through engaging content, it’s no wonder that they hungry to be connected with social influencers. Recognizing this trend, Twitter snatched up Niche, a social personality management startup. With Niche under their umbrella, Twitter will now be able to adequately match social starts with the right brands, which will especially help Twitter’s Amplify program.
Facebook Opens up Atlas League
This week, Facebook revealed new partners, MediaOcean, Publicis and Merkle to join the ranks within its Atlas platform. Access to Atlas will allow these companies to now report on an audience level, rather than the cookie-level to deliver people-based measurement.

Print Goes Programmatic

Programmatic is taking over the Digital world and now print wants in too. Time Inc. and MediaMath revealed a new collaboration that will introduce programmatic buying to the print world in a first of its kind deal. The deal will cover all 18 of Time’s print titles, allowing marketers to integrate more cohesive print-digital campaign strategies.
